    Eman Abdulaziz

I am originally from Palestine and lived and studied in Saudi Arabia. I have passion for early childhood education so when I moved to the USA, I volunteered in primary schools; helping in classrooms and in the school library. By the time I left the USA I had developed a strong interest in reading and use of the library.

    Islamic Studies Teacher

    Hisham Rababah

I have alway thought about exceptional teaching, so I worked hard to become an innovative teacher, driving students to take risks and innovate. I believe that the impossible is only a point of view.

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Education as a Primary Teacher (Islamic and Arabic), I also have a Master Degree's in Psychology. I have worked in several schools all over the Middle East as an Islamic Studies Teacher. I am so glad to have this opportunity to become a member of Compass, the most amazing and friendly team ever. I am working at two Compass campuses: Gharaffa and Rayyan, and I am so excited to have this new challenge.

    EAL Teacher

    Lauren Metcalf

In 2015, I moved to Doha with my husband to work as a classroom teacher in Year 2.  Prior to that, I was a classroom teacher in Year 5 for 2 years.  It has been so valuable to bring my experience of working with the new curriculum in England to an international setting.  I have always wanted to work with children and support their development and understanding of the world.  It is so rewarding to be a part of their exciting journeys.  In 2017, I moved on to the role of EAL coordinator, in which I support the children who are learning English as a second (or sometimes third) language.

    PE Teacher

    Nicola Jervis

I joined the PE team at Compass International School Doha's Rayyan Campus in August 2019.

I have previously taught in Qatar Foundation and in the UK and I have over 20 year experience teaching Physical Education and Swimming.

I have a massive passion for sport, and it has paid a part in my whole life, representing my home county in Cross Country and Swimming. Nothing gives me more enjoyment than sharing this love and passion with others encouraging them to try new things and to keep trying even when they my find things difficult.

Sport teaches you many life skills teamwork, cooperation, communication and resilience are just some of the attributes we teach the students along with the skills of many different sports.

In my spare time, I love to stay active and keep fit. I enjoy going to the beach and spending time with my family.
