Librarian

I am originally from Palestine and lived and studied in Saudi Arabia. I have passion for early childhood education so when I moved to the USA, I volunteered in primary schools; helping in classrooms and in the school library. By the time I left the USA I had developed a strong interest in reading and use of the library.

I moved to Qatar at the end of 2012 and volunteered at Compass International School Doha's Rayyan Campus. I worked for a year in the library and became a member of staff in 2014. From then until now, I still learn something new every day at Rayyan.

I love to see the children get excited about their library sessions and reading and I hope the library will always be a peaceful place where children find inspiration, information and make connections with the world around them.

It is always a pleasure to welcome them to our lovely library.
