I've lived in the Middle East all my life, starting at Salalah, Oman. As a family we've moved across countries multiple times: Qatar wins for longest streak at 12 years and counting. Life as a Thirs Culture Kid (TCK) meant that I had to change schools six times, exposing me to a rich diversity of cultures and experieces, which has greatly influenced who I am today. I feel right at home at Compass, and my students constantly inspire me with their perseverance and compassion.
Following my Master's degree in English, I completed the Cambrige CELTA and worked for two years as an EAL trainer teaching adults, before joining Compass in 2019. Currently I am pursuing the International Award in Special Educational Needs Coordination (iSENCo) course affiliated with Middlesex University London.
