I joined Compass' Themaid Campus in October 2019 as a Learning Assistant shortly after I moved to Qatar with my family.
Prior to this my career had predominantly been in Law and Criminal Justice. For the past 15 or so years I was a Probation Officer working in the UK.
I was thrilled to get the opportunity to utilise the transferable skills I have acquired in my previous career within the primary school environment. It is a pleasure to work with highly skilled teachers and with such wonderful and engaging children.
Having children myself, I spend a lot of the time running them about to their various sports clubs etc. When I get the chance I like to knit and enjoy swimming.
