After studying at University College Dublin for three years, I moved to Liverpool in the UK, where I obtained my PGCE in geography from Edge Hill University in 2016. Following this, I worked in Hertfordshire (UK) for two years as a geography teacher. Here, I gained valuable experience that I have utilised throughout my career to date. I am currently in my third year teaching in Doha and I am thoroughly enjoying the many wonderful experiences Qatar has to offer.
I love travelling to new countries and exploring different cultures, but sport is my true passion. My favourite sport is Gaelic football – the best way to describe this game is to say that it is a cross between rugby and soccer! I am fortunate enough to be part of a great Irish Gaelic football team here in Doha as well as a soccer team. When I’m not kicking a ball up and down a pitch, I enjoy playing basketball and tennis. This year, I have been trying my hand at some golf too!
