I grew up in the beautiful city of sails, Auckland, New Zealand which is at the bottom of the world. Living in such an isolated country, I grew up dreaming of travel and with a thirst for adventure. I always wanted to be a teacher since I was a young girl and I saw the profession as my ticket to see the world. I completed my education and graduated from the University of Auckland in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts and Postgraduate Diploma in Education. I gained four years' experience in two large state schools in Auckland. During this time, I took on as many opportunities as I could such as running extracurricular clubs, football coaching, teaching film production and event planning before making the move to London in 2016.
After two exciting years living in the UK and travelling throughout Europe, I moved back home to New Zealand. My thirst for adventure and love of travel didn't keep me still for very long and soon enough, the right opportunity presented itself in the form of joining Compass International School in 2019.
Outside of the classroom, cooking is one of my passions. My favourite part of travel is discovering new flavours and learning about culture and traditions through cuisine. I also love to keep fit and healthy by exercising regularly, practicing yoga and running long distance. I hope to complete my first full marathon next year.
