I received my teaching degree from the University of Western in London, Ontario and once I completed my degree I began my life of teaching outside of Canada. My first teaching post was in Australia and being there helped me better learn the games of rugby, Australia rules football and cricket.
My next stop was England where I quickly learned that when I heard the term football it was indeed soccer and I no longer was I allowed to call the game "soccer". I did get to teach some Canadian football which was nice. I then took my teaching career to Phuket, Thailand. I was very lucky in Phuket to teach and coach some amazing students. I was able to develop the schools first volleyball team and introduced the very competitive staff vs students charity basketball games. I also had the great privilege to coach a couple National swimmers from various countries.
Living away from my family back in Canada since 2013 has been a tough whirlwind but I have learned and experienced so much. I joined Compass in 2019.
All in all, I am an avid sports enthusiast and I look forward to teaching a variety of sports to the students.
