I studied Physics at Queen Mary University. I took some time out of my degree to travel and in this time I also worked as an LSA in a primary school in Kingston (UK). I instantly fell in love with teaching and subsequently completed my Physics degree and went on to complete my PGCE at Brunel University of London.
Since qualifying in 2018, I have been teaching Science and Physics in Surrey. I have been Head of house for the last two years and truly believe in helping students to develop holistically. I have particular interest in Astronomy and the history of scientific discovery.
In my personal life I have competed in martial arts and engaged in outdoor activities for many years. These include and are not limited to kayaking, rock climbing and hiking. I am an avid reader, student of history and enjoy travelling. I am excited to join Compass International school this summer and look forward to what life in Doha will be like.
