Our small class sizes have an average student-teacher ratio of 12:1, which means each child is fully supported. Elizabeth Lamb

Executive Principal

Liz has been an educator for more than 25 years, leading at Nord Anglia Education schools in China, the UAE and Qatar. Liz is particularly interested in personalizing the learning journey for every student, so they can achieve more than they thought possible.

Ann Djedid

Head of Campus, Themaid

Ann has more than 30 years’ experience in education and leadership, having originally qualified as a primary teacher in Scotland. The longest serving member of staff, Ann embodies our ambitious ethos, setting high expectations and encouraging our children to be the best.

Thomas Kinnersley

Head of Secondary, Themaid

Tom, an experienced school leader with UK roots, transitioned to international education at Compass. His core mission is empowering students as independent learners through innovative, student-centric teaching and curriculum decisions.

Laura Anderson-Rice

Head of Secondary, Madinat Khalifa

Laura has a first-class honours degree in Natural Sciences and a PGCE in Lifelong Learning, specialising in Psychology and Business. Supporting our secondary students in all aspects of their learning and personal growth, Laura loves to celebrate student success.

Sarah Dillon

Having lived and worked in Doha for eight years, Sarah is an extremely proud member of the Compass family. Sarah nurtures our primary learners’ talents, helping them grow into confident, responsible, truly international young citizens.

Tamara Bell

Head of Campus, Gharaffa

Tamara has dedicated her life to education, with extraordinary experiences as a teacher and leader in England, New Zealand and Qatar. She is passionate about teaching and learning, and believes it should always be fun, engaging and meaningful for children. Nurturing strong relationships in our Compass community is important to Tamara, to ultimately enrich our students' experience and ensure their success at school.

On our Global Campus learning platform, your child will connect with classmates in more than 30 countries across the globe. They’ll take part in one-off international projects and challenges, and explore specially curated content from our world-leading partners, including MIT and The Juilliard School. Our secure digital space is open to parents, too, giving you access to your child’s learning.

We continually invest in new technology to make sure our students have the best facilities and equipment. This includes state-of-the-art ICT suites, 3D printers, and the latest iPads.
