Drop-off arrangements
Early years: We ask that you bring your child to their classroom.
Years 1 to Year 6: Our students meet in the playground, where their teacher will take them to class.
Years 7 to 11: Our students wait under the covered area outside until school starts at 7:15 am. They then go to their classroom for registration.
Years 12 to 13: Our IBDP students go straight to the IB suite when they arrive.
Gharaffa Campus
Please use the main entrance for drop-off.
If you're driving, please use the ‘safe bay’ between the two lines of traffic so children can get out of the car into a traffic-free zone. Only school buses park in the area next to the school perimeter wall. Children shouldn't leave the school premises without an adult. Security have been told to stop any unaccompanied children from leaving the site.
You'll find parking areas at the front, side and rear of the school.
Madinat Khalifa Campus
Front entrance
The front entrance is the drop-off point for cars and pedestrians. Buses don't use this entrance.
Side entrance
Before school: This is a drop-off zone for cars and school buses. You can enter through the gate into the layby, drop-off your child, and leave through the second gate. Cars shouldn't be left unattended.
After school: Only school buses can use this entrance. Parents or drivers need to park and enter the school through the front.
Themaid Campus
A one-way system is in place for parents who want to drop-off or collect their children quickly. After school, you can use the pick-up lane once your child is outside. If you'd like to come into the school on foot, you should park outside the gates.
Early years: Classes start at 7:20 am. You should take your child to their classroom at 7:10 am. Lessons finish at 1:20 pm and your child should be collected by an adult.
Primary: If your child arrives before 7:15 am, they should head to our library. They should then go to class for registration at 7:15 am. Parents who arrive to pick up their child before the 1:30 pm finish time can wait in our reception area.
Secondary: If your child arrives before 7:15 am, they should make their way to our canteen. They should then head to class for registration at 7:15 am. They leave through the canteen door at 1:30 pm and should be offsite by 1:40 pm.
No taxis are allowed on site and all drivers must have an ID. If you make alternative arrangements for your child to be collected by another parent, you must let us know in advance. If you have any problems with transport, please get in touch with main reception.
