Languages in Primary

Students develop their confidence in speaking, listening, reading and writing, while discovering the cultures connected to the languages they study. Alongside Arabic, students have opportunities to learn French, German, Mandarin or Spanish, with additional opportunities available to further develop their language skills.

Languages in Secondary

Students deepen their knowledge and develop greater fluency and independence in their chosen language. Learning progresses towards IGCSE, with a strong focus on listening, reading, speaking and writing, alongside opportunities for early entry and additional international language qualifications.

Languages in Sixth Form

Students can take their language studies further through IB Diploma and A Level pathways. Our IB language offering includes Arabic, French, German, Mandarin and Spanish, with additional languages also possible through the NAS Language Academy, providing opportunities for students to pursue languages at an advanced level.
