I was so excited in 2006 to gain my teaching qualifications in the UK.  I gained invaluable experience working in a diverse and challenging, inner-city school in the middle of England.

My beginnings as a teacher had certainly ensured I had been tested in all elements of the profession from curriculum through to ensuring the best pastoral care for my children. My first cohort of children will always remain embedded in my memory as it is those children who taught me so much about myself, and about the teacher I would forever strive to be. Children ignite my passion for teaching, they amaze me with their knowledge and understanding, but even more importantly I am always fascinated by their self-belief, energy, and excitement for life. How wonderful it is to be a child, and how lucky I am to be the teacher
that facilitates their journey into the big wide world.
In 2009 I relocated to the United Arab Emirates and began my journey as an international teacher.  Over the last 10 years I have grown both professionally and personally and I will be forever thankful for the experiences I have enjoyed since moving to Dubai.  I have had the opportunity to work across a number of International schools and gained qualifications and experience of the Primary Years Programme(PYP) to add to my knowledge of the UK curriculum. I have appreciated being able to give back to the local community through guiding Emirati teachers from a local University in their final teaching practice.  I have been excited to lead teaching teams and collaborate with colleagues in research to raise standards in teaching and learning. In 2018 I completed my Masters in Educational Leadership through Warwick University in the UK, but my biggest achievement that year was starting my own family.
I joined the Nord Anglia family last year and I could not be happier. The Early Years team strive to provide the best possible experience for every child and their family. Children thrive in our wonderful environment where they are at the centre of every decision. I believe a happy child who feels secure and cared for can succeed at anything that they set their little mind to. I feel blessed to be able to facilitate learning and watch as they develop skills and knowledge to ensure their ability to become life-long learners.
Outside of Nord Anglia I just love spending time with my little family exploring and experiencing new things together. I have a real passion for health and well-being. I love to be busy and squeeze as much
as possible into my spare time such as cross-fit, running, paddle-boarding, and strength-training.
I cannot wait to meet the children and their families as we start a new academic year together at Nord Anglia.  I am excited to learn about you and facilitate your individual learning journey.
