In 2002 I began my journey working with small children as a Teaching Assistant in a local Primary school which led me back to university where I gained a Post Graduate Degree in Primary Education.
After 3 years of teaching in the UK I travelled for 2 years exploring some incredible countries around the world, developing a love of different cultures and making some amazing memories. Finally locating in Sydney Australia, I continued my teaching career. I then took that experience back to the UK where I developed a wealth of experience teaching across all phases of the Primary School before moving to Dubai, 3 years ago.
My passion for Early Childhood Development began 5 years ago as I was fortunate enough to work alongside a lead Early Years consultant sharing an Early Years unit, where I gained a deep understanding of how young children develop the skills they need to continue as lifelong learners. A firm believer that learning needs to be brought to life I absolutely love getting messy with the children, immersing them into what they enjoy and letting them be the leaders of their learning. I am passionate about making learning fun, engaging and I strive to ensure that the children in my care are always happy.
As an active person I love spending time outdoors; cycling, swimming and since being in the UAE, paddle boarding has become a new hobby of mine. I love to go to the gym, read and spend time exploring this exciting country with my friends.
