I am very happy to have embarked on a new challenge and working with new colleagues and students.
After graduating from Chichester University with a Sports Science Degree and PGCE, I taught in London for 6 happy years, furthering my career, not only in my teaching but also as a middle manager. After leading a netball tour to Dubai in 2007, I decided to move out to start a new chapter in both my life and career and I haven’t looked back.
As a teacher of Physical Education, I like to ensure high standards for all of my students. I actively promote an environment in which all students can flourish and achieve their full potential. I like to motivate and challenge students of all abilities to ensure a positive learning environment. Encouraging young people to succeed and discover talent is a truly valuable experience, which I hopefully will continue to do for a long time to come.
Personally I share a passion and motivation for sport playing netball and attending fitness classes. My belief is that you should always try your best but ultimately enjoy what you’re doing. This ethos is one I try to instil in my own children. Joining NAS Dubai is something I have been very excited about; helping to build on the successes it has to date.
