I qualified from the University of the West of England in 2011 with BA (Hons) in Initial Teacher Education, since then I have worked across Early Years and Key Stage One. I have spent two years working as a year 1/2 teacher in an inner city school in Bristol, I was then given the opportunity to start my international teaching career. I have spent two years teaching year two in Cairo, four years teaching Reception in Beijing and the last two years as a year two teacher in Prague. Teaching internationally has become a passion of mine, finding out about different cultures and working with staff, children and parents from all over the world.
My classroom is a place where children feel secure, valued and enjoy learning through playful opportunities. I build positive relationships with parents and carers, enabling us to work together to unlock the full potential of your child. I will be moving to Dubai with my partner and two young children so I understand how important it is for your children to be happy and thriving in school.
During my free time I enjoy exploring new places, spending time at the beach and playing with my two daughters. I am into fitness, training at the gym and taking on new challenges running races in different countries. I am hoping to take part in a new challenge in Dubai...if I can handle the heat!
