I graduated from the University of Teeside with a BA honours degree in Educational Studies in 2013 and carried on to do a post graduate teaching programme. I love teaching because every day is never the same! Facilitating the curious, inspiring minds of children whilst watching them grow into young learners, makes each day in this profession meaningful and worthwhile. I have taught in all areas of the school including both KS1, KS2 and foundation stage.
I am a very happy, positive person and I believe this positivity and enjoyment creates a positive learning environment for students, being confident that my enthusiasm and passion will ignite and inspire the children I teach. I aim to teach lessons through a creative, personalised approach where children see learning come ‘to life’ with the use of engaging, resourceful and personalised lessons, allowing them to become successful learners who reach their full potential.
I have a passion for travel and have visited many places around the world however, Dubai is not one of them, and this is something I am looking forward to changing very, very soon! In the past I have lived in America- this was an amazing experience and allowed me to meet lots of new people and teach children from an international perspective. I love experiencing new cultures and exploring new sights and can’t wait to start my new adventure at NAS Dubai!
