I have since lived and worked in North London, where I grew up, and where I have taught various year groups in Key Stage 2. This experience has given me a clear understanding of the skills and development necessary for Year 3 students to progress successfully.
My career has provided a wealth of experience in working with children, including those with Special Educational Needs. I’ve worked in a dyslexia school to support students with their reading confidence, and as a teaching assistant for hearing impaired children.
I am committed to helping pupils reach their learning potential using creative and innovative teaching methodologies whilst providing a stimulating and positive learning environment for all children to learn and develop lifelong skills. Through my years as a Brownie pack leader, I have helped children to build upon life skills and confidence in a variety of arts and crafts, physical activities and cooking.
In my spare time I am a keen baker and enjoy adapting recipes to be nutritious and plant-based. I also enjoy travelling to as many different places as I can during the school holidays and experiencing various cultures.
I am now going into my 2nd year at NAS Dubai, where I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the Year 3 team, and I am looking forward to meeting my new class.
