I obtained a degree in Computer Science BSc (Hons) from Wolverhampton University. My degree has provided me with a comprehensive subject knowledge covering theory and the practical topics in the area of Computer Science.
My goal has always been to work within a varied and interesting environment with a social atmosphere that will offer constant challenges, where my will power and enthusiasm can make a difference. This is what led me into teaching, wanting to impart this vision into young people and giving them the tools to succeed, not only in the subject but life as well.
I have been teaching for 11 years, in which time I have grown as a teacher and as a person, not only being an educator in the classroom, but also being educated by some of the brilliant young people in how they perceive the world.
Out of school I enjoy sport, in particular football. I’m currently the club secretary of a local community football club, involved in the creation of the club, introducing management structure, administration procedures and ensuring the sustainability of the club, enabling young people to play sport and stay fit outside of school.
My other passions are my two boys, who give me the drive and energy to succeed in life and at FIFA on the Xbox which I fail miserably at! I enjoy socialising with friends and spending time with family.
My experiences have given me the skills and knowledge necessary for this post. I am very committed to self-improvement and furthering my experience and feel that NAS Dubai is an ideal place to continue my professional career.
I look forward to meeting you all in August!
