Educated in the UK, I studied at Middlesex University, Goldsmith University and the University of Leeds where I completed a Master’s Degree in Education, focusing on English as an Additional Language.
Throughout this I have enjoyed teaching and now have over twenty years of experience, with over 10 years teaching internationally in the UK, Brunei, Beijing and Hong Kong. I believe that learning should be as enjoyable and authentic as possible. I am passionate about reading for pleasure and enjoy taking students out of the classroom to learn in a variety of ways. My interest in education extends beyond the Language and Literature classroom and I have taught TOK, been a CAS Co-ordinator, Director of Studies, Language Co-ordinator, Wellbeing Leader and member of Senior Leadership.
Outside of this, I love art galleries, markets, old bookstores, sewing, reading, the theatre and hiding away in old book stores.
