IB French
I was born and raised in Chester in the north-west of England. I studied at the University of Nottingham where I was awarded a BA Honours degree in French. From a young age I always knew that I wanted to become a teacher as I have always loved helping others and working with children.
IB German
Having worked for over twenty years in the technical side of show business and the world of theatre, I decided to return to formal education and, after a prolonged struggle, I attained a First Class Honours Degree in German, French and Education at the University of Stirling in Scotland.
IB German, Head of German
I was born and brought up in Liverpool, England. From a young age I learnt French and at secondary school was given the opportunity to begin learning Spanish and later German. I completed GCSEs and A-Levels in the three languages, and then completed a BA in German and Spanish at the University of Leeds.
IB Chinese/Mandarin
I was born in a city called Wuhan on the Yangtze River of China. I obtained my Master’s degree from the East China Normal University with a major in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language after four years of study in Chinese Language and Literature.
IB Spanish
I was 100% sure I wanted to study and work with languages and so I decided to become a Spanish teacher.
I was born and raised in Malaga, Spain, by Spanish and Belgian parents in an area known for it's high concentration of British expats. Consequently, I grew up speaking three languages.
