I am originally from Spain but I have been living and studying/working all around the world since I was 17 years old, including the U.S.A, South Africa, Italy, Belgium and India, where I got officially accredited as a Yoga teacher.
I hold a Ph.D. in Languages and Translation, a Master's degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language, a second Master’s degree in Intercultural Communication and a Postgraduate Certificate in Foreign Language Acquisition. I have also training and experience working with the Common European Framework of Reference or Languages, in particular with the Instituto Cervantes’ DELE exams, and I am officially accredited as a sworn translator and interpreter by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs to work with all kind of legal documents in both English and Spanish.
My passion for foreign cultures and languages, together with my extensive time living overseas is what distinguishes my work. During these past 10 years, my career has been diverse and enriching, having worked in four different continents where I had the pleasure to teach both adults and kids. I love being part of multicultural teams, working with people from all over the world. This, together with my love for kids and traveling, made me very eager to explore the possibility of working at an International School. Thanks to NAS Dubai my dream has come true.
When I am not teaching, it is most likely that you will find me traveling the world! It is my real passion indeed and I truly believe it is the best way to learn about respect and love for everyone and anyone. I also love practising yoga, meditating, learning new things (anything!), reading, and enjoying a good meal in a nice restaurant.
