IB Spanish

I was born and raised in Malaga, Spain, by Spanish and Belgian parents in an area known for it's high concentration of British expats. Consequently, I grew up speaking three languages.

I was very young when I became aware of the importance and the advantages of the ability to communicate in other languages. When it came to choosing my career, I had no doubt I wanted to become a language teacher.

I graduated at the University of Malaga, receiving a Bachelor's Degree in English Philology.

I worked as a Spanish Modern Foreign Language Assistant in Houston Texas, and in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire.

I later received a Master's Degree in Education, specialized in the teaching of a second language.

I was a fully qualified English teacher in a private international school in Spain, and prepared students for their IB exams and Cambridge ESOL Examinations.

When I am not teaching, I am either learning languages, reading a book, or practicing different kinds of sports. I also love traveling and meeting new cultures.

Teaching is my real passion, and cannot feel more excited and blessed to continue my career in Dubai and to be part of the Nord Anglia International School family.
