My interest and commitment to working with young people has been consistent and unwavering. This is reflected in the numerous paid and voluntary positions I have had in the last 10 years which culminated in me becoming a teacher. I have been teaching Psychology and Sociology in London for 3 years. I have been able to apply aspects of psychology from my degree to support my understanding of how young people best learn. Furthermore, my background in psychology and compassionate nature has equipped me with the necessary skills to empowered and support students during challenging seasons.
I believe that Psychology produces citizens that are well rounded not just academically but socially and emotionally. Psychology empowers students to solve problem from a holistic perspective and ask unique and complex questions that challenge the status quo.
When I am not planning, marking or teaching lessons, I like to attend a wide variety of performing arts events with friends and family. I love traveling and learning from different cultures and communities. I also enjoy the challenge of learning new skills, I am currently teaching myself to sew and crochet.
I am thrill to work for a network that has an exceptional reputation across the world but also within Dubai. I look forward to building strong and effective relationships with students, teachers and parents at NAS Dubai. I am confident that this opportunity is going to enhance and enrich my experience beyond teaching.
