IB Biology, CAS Co-ordinator
I grew up in the North of England in a village called Cottingham and hold a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree, and a PGCE in Secondary Science from the University of Sheffield.
IB Biology
Since gaining my PGCE at the University of Brighton, I have taught Biology and General Science across the ability range at KS3, KS4 and KS5 in the UK for two years and in Vietnam for nearly four years.
Raised in a small town between the sea and the South Downs of Sussex I distributed my time fairly equally between the two, cultivating a passion for Science and the outdoors.
IB Biology, M.I.T. Leader
I have always had a passion for science. However, it wasn’t until I studied it at the National University of Ireland, Galway that the true extent of my passion came to fruition.
IB Chemistry
I graduated with a Master’s degree from Leicester University in 2011 where I enjoyed research successes within the field of Green chemistry. I then went on to work as a graduate for a global engineering firm prior to my PGCE course at the University of Bedfordshire.
I grew up on the East Coast of Canada on a small island. I was fortunate to have excellent teachers that inspired me to continue to be a life-long learner. I knew that I always wanted to go into teaching and would continually feel a sense of fulfillment in helping my fellow classmates.
IB Physics
Originally from Newcastle upon Tyne, I moved to Sheffield in 2009 to study Civil Engineering at Sheffield University. After I graduated, I then moved down to Ely, Cambridgeshire, where I developed my passion for teaching during a year long stint as a ‘live-in’ Graduate Assistant at a boarding school.
