Lilian Algajary

I was born and raised in Damascus, a beautiful city in Syria. Having seen many of my family members teaching, I have always known what I have wanted to be: a teacher! I have a Bachelor of English literature Degree from Al-Baath University.

I am currently in my tenth year of teaching in the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program. During the past five to seven years I’ve gained extensive experience in the Primary Years Program, Arabic for foreigners as well as the national curriculum. joining Nord Anglia International School Dubai in  2018 was a great opportunity for me to put my teaching skills into action and take my teaching strategies to a higher level of excellence. I have a strong desire to provide all students with an excellent experience in learning the Arabic language.

Through my teaching I focus on helping children to become independent, confident and curious learners by motivating and inspiring them through acknowledging and praising their learning and creativity within the subject.

when I am not teaching, I am either learning languages, reading a book, or practicing different kinds of sports. I also love traveling and meeting new cultures.

Teaching is my real passion, and cannot feel more excited and blessed to continue my career in Dubai and to be part of the Nord Anglia International School family
