I joined NAS Dubai in April 2016. Prior to taking up my role as Mandarin Teaching Assistant at NAS I worked for our Nord Anglia Education sister school, the British School of Beijing for 2 years.

Born and raised in Xi’an, the central part of China. I graduated from Xi’an International University with an English major Bachelor’s degree. I have been interested in teaching and working with kids for a long time. I have been adapting the teaching method I have learned and experienced into the teaching of Mandarin. To me, every child is unique and different. I am keen to help students progress in Mandarin and to develop their interests in learning the language. I believe language is not only a tool for communication, but also a vehicle for conveying culture through it.

In my spare time, I like exploring new places and enjoy getting to know Dubai since moving here. I love traditional Chinese culture, especially the calligraphy and Chinese traditional dance.
