Chris is grateful each day to help our children ignite their lifelong engagement with the arts. Similarly, he is thankful to share in this joyful work with an exceptionally capable and dedicated team of educators and administrators.
Chris continually seeks to hone his skills as an educational leader through participation in professional education such as Harvard Graduate School of Education’s: Arts and Passion-Driven Learning Institute and Leading Change course, the Nueva Design Thinking Institute, and professional development at The Juilliard School.
Born in western New York, Chris earned degrees from the Eastman School of Music, University of Rochester (BM) and the Aaron Copland School of Music, C.U.N.Y. (MA) where he studied with William Lincer, George Taylor, Carl Schachter, and other inspirational teachers. He additionally holds the Florida Educator’s Professional Certificate.
Chris has performed throughout the U.S. and Germany as a chamber musician, viola soloist, and member of various orchestras. Among these were the Heidelberger Schlossfestspiele Orchester, Jupiter Symphony (NYC), Michigan Opera Theatre Orchestra, New World Symphony, Florida Grand Opera Orchestra, and Miami City Ballet Orchestra.
Chris is deeply grateful to share in providing all of our children an ever-improving academic environment in which to thrive and develop as individuals.
