At North Broward Prep, it’s our top priority to ensure your child feels safe and comfortable on campus. Our school leaders care deeply about the well-being of all students and focus on approaches to safekeeping, well-being, and resilience as part of regular teaching and learning practices. 

We provide social and emotional support known as N.E.S.T (nurturing, empathetic, support team) for our students’ emotional intelligence, as we equip them with strategies to overcome challenges. Boarding students have 24-hour support from their dorm parents, who live on campus to support their personal wellbeing, academic growth, and character development.

In this way, we foster a supportive, inclusive environment that puts students' mental and social well-being at the forefront. That’s why 95% of NBPS parents say their child feels safe at school.

North Broward Prep students are empowered to make positive changes at school and in their communities. Our teachers and curriculum proactively support their development as creative and resilient global citizens. At NBPS, we strive to inspire every child to learn without limits and go beyond any border to make an impact.

 

This culture of change is prominently cultivated by our Safe Promise Club, an immense student organization with over 150 members founded by student leaders who wanted to ensure the entire school community feels welcomed. The leaders of our Student Government further ensure everyone feels equipped to call for changes that make all happier—like recently asking for cafeteria cups to be doubled in size, a seemingly small ask that truly made student satisfaction increase.
