Dear Parents,

I promise you a very short Parent update today after a busy week

My colleagues, Carol Wong and Mandy Leung, have taken and uploaded an amazing number of photos to Firefly, Facebook and our website.

Upcoming Important DatesClick here

This includes the date for the Secondary Reports (19 February) and Secondary Parent Consultations (24 Feb from 3.30pm to 7.00pm)

Daily News from this weekClick here

This includes photo and video from:

  • Year 4 Harry Potter Day
  • Year 3 Chinese Assembly
  • All School – Celebrating Mandarin Day (A special thank you to our PTA for organising a wonderful Lion Dance!)

If you are a Facebook user, I hope that you’ve all ‘Liked’ our page so that you can see things moments after they happen.

One small change to our upcoming Parent Workshops is a session on 'E-safefy At Home', led by our Head of Pastoral Care, David Boyd. Please see attached a letter from Mr Boyd on this important subject in Firefly. We have noticed a worrying trend towards younger children having more and more access to social media, and we all need to ensure that we all have the best understanding of how to create a safe online environment for our children.

We would like to encourage as many parents (specifically for years 5 to 8, but year 4 parents are welcome too) to join this E-Safety at Home workshop on Tuesday 1 March at 8.30am. Please RSVP to ricky.auyeung@nais.hk

We look forward to seeing all our students back on Monday 15 February. ECAs and Late Buses will begin again during that first week.

In the meantime, have a wonderful holiday and we would like to wish you and your family a happy and healthy Year of the Monkey.
