1:1 Support

We are looking for a number of enthusiastic and dedicated part time 1:1 support Teachers to work 1:1 with either Primary or a Secondary Student. The number of hours for this position varies, depending on the needs of the student. The hours can range from 8 hours to 20 hours across the school week.

The successful candidate will work closely with a class teacher and Learning Support Link Teacher to support the student in their curriculum lessons. This Support Teacher will provide students with continuity in their classes; instill responsibility; foster independence and encourage learning.

Essential skills needed are; working well in a team; excellent communication skills; understanding and caring personality and the ability to work with class teacher to differentiate tasks and the curriculum, where necessary. The successful candidate may have experience supporting students with additional needs both within the classroom and on a 1:1 basis. We would love to hear from you if you feel you could support students to reach their potential.

This role is paid privately by parents and the 1:1 Support Teacher will liaise with the student’s class teacher and Learning Support Link Teacher with regards to hours. This role is term time only.
