Muhamad loves art. He enjoys creating his own artwork, viewing other artists work, and teaching Art to his colleagues and even to the children. Not only does he take pleasure in sharing his knowledge about art history and the process of making, but he wants his students to experience art and understand how much it affects their lives.
This year will be Mr. Muhamad’s 4th year teaching and assisting in teaching in different International Schools in Malaysia. Before involving in education, he was an artist who usually created large scale sculptures made of metal and clay. He was also an assistant to a famous contemporary artist, Suhaidi Razi.
Mr. Muhamad is a UiTM graduate who received his Bachelor of Fine Arts and majored in Ceramic Sculpture and Ceramic Studio and Industry (pottery).
In his free time, he likes to travel, camp, hike and bike. While he is outside, he loves to take lots of picture and sketch out possible ideas for future clay sculptures. Nature and music are his main sources of inspiration. A lot of the forms relate back to nature. It is very rare that he makes something without listening to music.
