PhD in Biology, PADI Divemaster.
Before Ramona came to Malaysia she worked for two years as Research Associate in the Academy of the Federal Institute for Risk Assessment in Berlin. Moving to Malaysia in 2016, she followed her passion and worked as Marine Biologist on Perhentian Island.
After being Research Coordinator in the Perhentian Turtle Project for two seasons, she took over the Perhentian Marine Research Station and also worked with the students of the local Primary school. She has always been keen to share her passion and teach children about marine life. Outside of work you will find her trekking, diving, travelling or relaxing while reading good books.
