I have interned at RYTHM Foundation, an organisation serving two of the most vulnerable segments of society – children with special needs and children from low income families. I have also taught prior in two government schools, experienced in both primary and secondary education.
I am from Perak, Malaysia and a graduate from Universiti Putra Malaysia in English Language. I have two siblings and a proud owner of my pet dog, Sparkles. In my free time, I keep myself occupied with books, cycling or travelling. I believe in giving back to the society. I am also a volunteer teacher for underprivileged children at my hometown and is a youth member to undertake service activities in a NGO.
To me student happiness means that children have a positive attitude at all times. As a teaching staff, it is important to encourage children with kindness and smiles. With the positive emotions, I believe that it would contribute greatly towards a child's learning process.
