Assistant Head of Primary (Early Years Centre)
Ms Leah Lewis began her full-time teaching career in Cairo, Egypt for 3 years before moving to Suzhou, China and spent the next 7 years teaching a range of year groups including Pre-Nursery, Nursery, Reception and Year One. She also embarked on her leadership journey as Head of Early Years and Assistant Head of Lower School before joining BSKL middle of 2020.

Head of Reception
Ms Emily Clark has a Master of Education degree in education in Early Childhood Education and taught Early Years and Year 1 for the past four years in Amman, Jordan. Previously, she also taught Kindergarten in the United States for four years where she developed her passion and purpose as an Early Years educator. She loves spending time with her family by exploring nature and going hiking. She also loves to read and enjoys baking.
Nursery Teacher
Ms Hannah Kumar worked for a year in a learning centre for children who experience learning difficulties which led her to pursue Masters with special educational needs at University of Exeter which then she joined BSKL as an Assistant Teacher in Nursery. She was assigned the of Nursery Class Leader after one term at BSKL and moved to work with class of Pre-Nursery children. She now leads both Nursery and Pre-Nursery unit in BSKL Early Years Centre.
Reception Teacher
Ms Sarah Poyser studied at York St John University where she gained a first class degree in Primary Education. As part of her course, she was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to go to Austria to teach English. This experience, alongside her travels around other parts of the world, ignited her passion to teach abroad. During the last few years prior to joining BSKL, she has taught both Key Stage 1and 2 children in a large primary school in South Manchester. Throughout her time there, she had been Art and Design lead, coordinated the school’s Learning Council and taken responsibility for organising end of year productions. She strongly believe that Creative Arts is an important aspect of developing children’s confidence and creativity.
