After graduating from University, I began my full-time teaching career in Cairo, Egypt where I worked in a start-up British school. After spending 3 years developing a love for Early Years I moved to Suzhou, China where I spent the next 7 years. Whilst at Dulwich College Suzhou, I taught a range of year groups including Pre-Nursery, Nursery, Reception and Year One. I also embarked on my leadership journey as Head of Early Years and Assistant Head of Lower School. I joined BSKL in August 2020 as Assistant Head of Primary, with responsibility for Early Years (2-5 Year Olds)
I am joined in KL by my husband who is the Head of Primary PE and our son. We enjoy spending time outdoors, swimming, cycling and finding delicious foods to try. I am a keen team-player and enjoy team sports such as basketball and netball. I also have my Level 2 cheerleading coaching qualification which I hope to put to good use at BSKL.
Student happiness is about understanding every child's unique identity and getting to know them for who they are, then using this to challenge them and inspire them to be the best that they can be.
