I studied at Beijing Forestry University, then moved on to becoming a Chinese literacy teacher in Beijing for 10 years, equivalent to teaching Chinese first language, before moving to Malaysia to join BSKL since 2014.
I am from Beijing, China. I really enjoy playing music instruments and is able to play two instruments, piano, and Guzheng, a traditional Chinese instrument. I also enjoy spending my free time reading books, because to me, reading is like a never ending adventure, there is always something new to explore. I love listening to songs from the late 19's and also enjoy the recent hits. I am in the education line because I have a passion in teaching and finds satisfaction in bringing out happiness in students. My favourite quote is 'There is nothing in a caterpillar that tells you it's going to be a butterfly.'
To me, student happiness gives me a sense of fulfilment in my career, knowing that students are enjoying what i am teaching brings me a sense of satisfaction and reassurance for my passion in teaching. For the students, finding happiness in learning and going to school will make them feel belonged in this big family of BSKL. It can draw out their passion for learning and creativity, and at the same time, enhance their enthusiasm during lessons and activities. I believe student happiness is the key to allow students to achieve excellence in their studies and an amazing experience here in BSKL.
