I began my teaching career working as an instrumental teacher and as a music & movement specialist in Early Years settings across West London. I was also involved in several community outreach projects for the Lyric Hammersmith, as well as a volunteer assignment to a charity school in Calcutta, India. These experiences inspired me to become a teacher. I worked for a large music school and another international school in KL before joining BSKL.

I began my teaching career working as an instrumental teacher and as a music & movement specialist in Early Years settings across West London. I was also involved in several community outreach projects for the Lyric Hammersmith working with students from deprived areas of the city, as well as a volunteer assignment to a charity school in Calcutta, India. These experiences inspired me to become a teacher. In subsequent years, I worked for a large music school and an international school in KL before joining BSKL.

I grew up in Cheltenham in the UK. My hobbies include hiking, swimming, dancing and I love to travel, explore and try new food. I was inspired to become a teacher by a former teacher of mine who really showed by example that teaching is an art and we can make a great difference in young people's lives.

Student happiness is about giving students the opportunity to explore and experiment with ideas, in an environment where they feel included and safe to express themselves, so that they may grow in confidence in all areas of their development.
