Harrie has been at BSKL for 9 years, arriving in a year after it opened. Before this, he taught at a leading Sports College in UK, Charters School. Harrie and the PE team have developed an inclusive, broad and competitive sports programme with something for everyone. There are opportunities for children as young as year 2 and from year 4 there is at least one extra-curricular sports activity per day for children. Sport is used as a vehicle to develop characteristics such as courage, resilience and perseverance. The priorities of the sports programme at BSKL are effort over all, enjoyment and personal improvement. In 2018/19, 85% in year 4-13 of children chose to do additional extracurricular sport outside of school hours during the year. BSKL have a rich culture of sport.
