Having worked at my home town of Hartlepool for six years progressing to Head of Girls PE, I decided to travel overseas to get experience in teaching abroad, across the whole school and led the first (I)GCSE PE course as Curriculum leader in a school in Dubai. During this time I've travelled to the Far East which led me to Asia and my next teaching position as Whole School PE teacher at Dulwich College Seoul, South Korea.
I have a keen interest in promoting and leading a variety of sports, I'm a keen netballer and has led a number of teams. After spending two years at DCSL, I headed back to Dubai to be Head of Girls’ Sport at Jumeirah Primary school.
I stepped off the International teaching circuit to have a family, arriving back in the UK this time to West Yorkshire where I worked briefly in a Secondary Academy school in Bradford. Now I am at BSKL with my family and two young children.
