Mr Guy Taylor

1

Year 3 Teacher

MA English Literature (Edinburgh University)

MA Leadership and Innovation (University of West London)

Upon graduating from university, Guy worked in Japan with the JET (Japan Exchange and Teaching) programme and later as a Nursery teacher in Tokyo. After a brief stint in Japanese television production, he then spent seven happy years in a large inner-city primary school in Bermondsey, London, pursuing a variety of roles including Global Learning Lead and Lower Key Stage 2 English Lead, teaching classes across the entire of Key Stage 2. He is passionate about instilling a love of learning and in particular, a love for reading in children. This is Guy’s first post in an international school and he is enormously excited!

Outside of work, Guy enjoys spending time with his son, daughter and wife. He also loves running, reading children’s and adult’s literature and more recently, tackling tricky problems in the bouldering gym.
