Ms Stephanie Taylor

Year 3 Teacher

I love my job and believe that creating a personalised, challenging learning experience enables children to flourish. I take pride in creating a warm and welcoming environment where learners feel confident to take risks. I also enjoy helping children understand their strengths and how they can positively impact the world.

This is my first full year at BSKL, having taught in Year 1 from November last year. I really enjoyed teaching and learning in such a stimulating and diverse environment. I am looking forward to teaching in Year 3, supporting children in their first year of KS2. This year promises to be full of fun and exciting learning opportunities which I cannot wait to embrace with your child.

This will be my eighth year of teaching and I have experience teaching across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. Previous to BSKL I worked in a London primary school. During my time I was responsible for leading Geography, English and was the KS2 Phase Lead.

I live here with my husband, a teacher in Year 5, and our two children. Gwen will be in Year 1 and Kit will be starting Nursery in August. Having visited before, we chose Malaysia as a destination due to our appreciation of the food, the people and the wonderful sights. We enjoy visiting local parks for monkey sightings, trying lots of new and delicious cuisines, and doing lots and lots of swimming. Outside of school, I love scuba diving and freediving and I am completely at peace underwater! I can’t wait to find out all about your child’s interests and hobbies both inside and outside of school.
