Mr Martyn Stuart

Year 5 Teacher

Mr Martyn Stuart is originally from Scotland and has taught in a medium sized school for 3 years before moving to Penang and taught there for another 3 years. He decided to move to Kuala Lumpur after that. Outside of teaching, he enjoys road cycling, racing, growing and collecting house plants plus cooking.

Originally from Scotland, where I taught in a medium sized school for 3 years, I then spent three years teaching in Penang, before deciding to move to Kuala Lumpur.

Having already gained much experience in KS2, I am looking forward to meeting and getting to know your children. Your child can expect to be immersed in an environment that supports and pushes them to strive for success. Together, we will spend the year promoting independence and confidence in our learners, preparing them for KS3 and beyond.

Outside of teaching I enjoy road cycling and racing, growing and collecting house plants and cooking – always experimenting with new ingredients, recipes and methods. I am so fortunate that Malaysia allows me to experience all of these activities.
