Head of Art
Ms Emma Corkery is passionate about Creative Arts education and the positive impact Art can have on our wellbeing. Whilst studying for her degree she worked with the Arts coordinator of a large hospital to enhance the space and improve patient and staff experiences. She continued in this area of work and began to run art workshops with different groups of people including children in the hospital school. It was through this enjoyable and rewarding experience that she decided to train as an Art teacher.

Head of Graphic Design
Ms Kelly Newton's career in education began in England where she taught for nine years as a Design and Technology Teacher and then Assistant Head of a large Design and Technology Department in Devon for four years before she moved to Kuala Lumpur in 2014. At BSKL, she set up the Graphic Design Department and have taught both D&T: Graphic Products and Art & Design: Graphic Communications. She enjoys being active, outside in nature and enjoy learning new skills.
Art & Graphic Design Teacher
Ms Magali Goles has been teaching in secondary schools in the UK and internationally for the past 15 years. She was also the head of department for 7 years in previous school before joining BSKL. She loves working with students and helping them develop their creativity and skills.
Art Teacher
Mr Glen Johnston studied Fine Art at Plymouth College of Art, UK and later went on to complete his PGCE in post-compulsory education. He started his professional teaching career as Lecturer working with BA and FE students, where he recalls - “the rich and vibrant interdisciplinary environment had a long lasting positive impact”.
