I have been teaching for 15 years in secondary schools in the UK and internationally. I have taught a range of techniques from Ceramics to Print making and many others. I have been Head of department for 7 years prior to joining BSKL.
I have 2 children and we are a mixed family, my husband is English and I am French. We enjoy working internationally and meeting people from lots of different cultures.
I take time to pursue my personal practice and create work of my own in a variety of media. At the moment I simply work on rice paper with colouring pencils taking inspirations from the colours of Malaysia.
I love working with the students and helping them develop their creativity and skills. The best thing is to accompany them in their personal creative journey and open doors for them to express their ideas.
In teaching Art and Graphics, I hope to give students a space and time as well as the tools to express themselves, the ideas and questions that they have about the world. By placing student's interests at the center of our teaching, we enable them to by engaged and happy.
