Having completed the initial teacher training programme, I began my teaching practice in Brampton Manor Academy - an inner-city school and sixth form in East London. Here, working in one of the best Economics departments in the country helped me develop my teaching pedagogy which allowed students to achieve exceptional results. Keen to seek a new challenge, I then worked in an outstanding grammar school in Redbridge-Ilford County High School. In my time working in the school, It was particularly rewarding to play a key role in helping students progress to the best higher education institutions in the world.
I have also taken additional responsibility in mentoring PGCE Business trainee student teachers to help them develop their teaching skills. My role as a mentor has made a significant contribution to the development of student teachers who have credited me for showing empathy and patience in helping them reach their potential. I am now keen to utilise these qualities to transform the lives of students at BSKL.
I am a keen sportsman, with particular interest in playing cricket, football, snooker and tennis. My favourite football team is Liverpool FC. I am in the education line to help students achieve their academic potential.
Student happiness means to me, that students not only achieve their academic potential, but are able to develop a core set of skills that will help society at large.
