I qualified as a specialist ICT secondary teacher in 2004. Since then I have experienced and taught a wide range of students in UK and International schools, from Key Stage 1 through to Key Stage 5. I am always looking to continually develop my professional capabilities and has had the opportunity to work at different levels of leadership and management, thoroughly enjoying the challenges and successes within. I am constantly reminded of how important teaching and learning is for our young people and strives to work in an environment that creates a culture of completeness. Throughout my career, I have always been fully aware of how digital technologies can dramatically influence schools, students, parents and more importantly, teaching and learning, in a positive and beneficial way.
My favourite band is Pink Floyd and my favourite sports are football, F1 and golf.
My favourite quote about education is: “The real role of leadership in education…is not and should not be command and control. The real role of leadership is climate control – creating a climate of possibility. If you do that, people will rise to it and achieve things that you completely did not anticipate and couldn’t have expected.” - Sir Ken Robinson
To me, happy student at BSKL equals to Believe, Succeed, Flourish.
