Ms Janice Lim Huay Lin

Janice Lin

Examination Officer

Ms Janice Lim holds a BA (Hons) Graphic Design from Nottingham Trent University and a Certified Professional Marketer from National University of Singapore. Besides being BSKL's Examination Officer, her biggest passion is ballroom dancing and she has competed in dance competitions around the Asia Pacific region.

Ballroom dancing is my biggest passion and I have been fortunate to have the opportunity to dance competitively for three years in the Asia Pacific region, traveling to countries like Taiwan, Thailand, Hong Kong and Japan. All while juggling a career in advertising! I wrapped up my competitive journey by finishing 4th at the Malaysia ranking competition in late 2013, before embarking on my one-year working holiday experience in Australia.

No surprise, I believe that ballroom dancing should be carried out in detention classes as seen in the movie, “Take the lead”, inspired by a true story of dance instructor Pierre Dulaine, the founder of Dancing Classrooms.
