Secondary Deputy Head (Pastoral) & Geography Teacher
Steven has been in working in Secondary Schools for the last 10 years. He began his career Halifax (UK) working as part of the special educational needs team.
Following the completion of his PGCE in the subject of Geography, Steven spent four years teaching GCSE and A-level students in West Yorkshire before moving to The British International School of Kuala Lumpur.
Steven now oversees the Pastoral provision at BSKL, he is committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment for all of our Secondary students.

Matt has been teaching Geography in the UK for the past 3 years, prior to this he also spent time on a business graduate scheme with a large retailer as well as various different educational roles. In the UK, as a Lead Teacher Coordinator, Matt was responsible for sharing of good practice at a whole school level. Matt has also spent time volunteering in different parts of Africa and as such aims to promote the learning of Geography by utilizing real life experience to enhance understanding.
