Darshini is currently completing her Masters in Educational Psychology (Nottingham University).
Darshini has been teaching Special Needs children for the last 9 years and specialises in areas of Social, Emotional and Mental health. Prior to that she had taught reading and writing for children in the Early Years for 2 years. Darshini also worked with The Malaysian Education Welfare Research foundation as a volunteer for 3 years as a secretary and ran programs to help create developmental activities school in Klang Valleys.
She also has an interest in martial arts, and has coached Taekwondo for children with the Professional Taekwondo Association for 5 years in Subang Jaya and Sunway. In the last couple of years Darshini has been getting certified and trained in swimming with autistic children and children with Special Needs, as she enjoys teaching children how to swim and how to overcome their fears of being in the water.
Darshini enjoys travelling and diving, she is now working towards getting a qualification to becoming a divemaster and would like to travel the world to discover the world under. Darshini also enjoys reading, is very keen on leading reading sessions for children.
