I was born and raise in Malaysia. My hobbies includes jogging, travelling and movies. I also love running and swimming and listening to electronic dance music and pop. The reason I joined the education industry is to inspire the child, to change the lives of students. As a teacher, I am more than just an educator - I am also a mentor, an inspiration and a friend. I want to help students along all stages of development and shaping the person they will ultimately become. I also want to help a child who struggling with low self-esteem and problems at home, to encourage them and help them realise their potential.
My favourite life quote is "Never give up. No matter what is going on. Never give up." - Dalai Lama. ( As I growing up day by day, I slowly realise the word "Never give up", it is easy to say it, but when you have to really "never give up", it actually is very difficult to make it happen when you face challenges. Growing up in life, I have realised there are no backwards, I just have to tell myself, "Never give up. No matter what is going on. Never give up". Things can be really worst sometimes, but "never give up" is the key to success, achieve, or heal.
As for educational quote - "Don't educate your children to be rich. Educate them to be happy, so they know the value of things, not just the price." - Victor Hugo. (It is crucial to educate students to be happy, and know the value of things, so when they grow up, they don't only look at the price and focus only on money. To let students know there are many things money can't buy - family, friendship, happiness, and health.)
Students feel safe, feel trust. Students can clearly tell the humanist approach at school. Their goals focus not merely on recognition and money, but also connect with interest and passion.
